Just scored a sweet barn find Mark III red stripe combo. Pics posted. Interestingly in the red stripe stripe it has a little blue “X”. Never saw that before, anyone have any idea if that means anything? Thanks!

Looks like black stripe modded to a Red Stripe
Now I see it was a purple stripe from another pot
The other post was for a head unit, this is for a combo. The head turned out to be a purple stripe that the previous owner re-tagged, makes you wonder about the other Mesa amps he is selling on Reverb right now...
 
OK The Face plate is a C+ Face plate with Rhythm 2 Screen Printed over Middle Knob with low Serial say a black Stripe Modded to Red Stripe?
 
Finished getting the new Mark III all cleaned; turned out beautifully. Couldn’t be more grateful to finally have one of the imbuya amps, and a Mark III at that. Hopefully I’ll hear more today on the what kind of modifications this had in the past for sure…
