Chrome Chassis option gone for the new Rectos?

I saw that Mesa has removed the option for a chrome chassis from their website and the 2010 pro-net pricing sheet. I'm guessing that
the new chassis are made from aluminum like the RK II/Roadsters, so the chrome plating won't adhere to it? Just wondering if anyone knew for sure.

Talked to Mesa, and they have quit making the Chrome chassis for the Rectos. Don't know the technical reason, but, they are no longer available.
