Blamin' it on the Moonshine - acoustic based rocker

brand new version, working mix, looking for mix comments.

couple things i'm thinking:
1. more aggressive percussion mix during solo section in middle.
2. the acoustics could have more low mids.
3. you need to play it loud.
LOL

i used a custom short scale strat thru a mesa boogie Mark 2b 60 watt head on the lead channel, set for 'clean', driven by a fulltone fatboost 3 for the electric solos;
Taylor 414, Seagull Artist Mosiac, shure KSM 44 thru A Designs Audio MP-1 on each acoustic and vocal track, ADK Hamburg on the percussion tracks, Palmer PDI-09 on electric

nearly flawless gonzo.....loved it! the cool chord around 4:02 was really a nice touch. well done.

masque...

you talking about the 'sour milk' chord?!

LOL

thanks for listening

this one is probably my best example of 'clean/dirty' boogie tone i've captured to date.
