+1 I didn't played any 7 stringers, the guitars I played were a bit thick to me but nothing you can't adapt to.

Just heard Polynomial Times (nice song name btw) and it's good, really dig that meaty tone, however I would suggest you throw some different licks in the mix, it's kinda repetitive and gets boring in the long run. What rig did you use?

I played that ibanez at GC and didn't like it, the tone wasn't good at all, but the neck was okay, which is rather surpising.. maybe changing the pups? I think that it was an okay guitar for that money..
