Would you swap a Mark IV for a Recto?

Good to hear haha! A low volumes, and expecting tight rhythms etc, the Recto would suck for sure. Being able to crank it and with an OD, very good. Horses for courses, but you'd just be making more effort for youself... and the lack of versatility + **** cleans etc.. I could never do that!

I like that tone dude! I would say it sounds just a LITTLE thin! But apart from that, it's great, so crunchy!

    Mark IV - IS METAL!

Just some clips I did with my mark IV guys! First clip is more mid centered from our pre pro demo's so there's some melodeath riffage in there. Second clip is some Arch Enemy. Now... these clips have been treated ONLY with High pass at 80hz and Low pass at 12khz. Enjoy! First clip: One of my...

OH NO! Sold my Mark IV...

Cool, hopefully nothing major then! I'm about to retube also. I've run JJ's in my Mark IV for a while but I feel they constrict the amp a bit and darken it a little too much! Any suggestions for tubes guys? I've heard good things about Groove Tubes! ~Chris

Would my Mark IV benefit from a boost?

I like running a TS-9 in front of my mark iv, my gain is set to about 7 and drive to abuot 6.5 when using it though. I like the character it gives it :)

Mark IV Why is load necessary when using Silent Recording

Yes, I use the recording out fairly often to connect to ab impulses when I can't be loud at home. There is definitely some signal still going through to the cab despite how low it is! I would never run my mark iv without a load just in case. To precious to test!!! haha
