Try it, then only decide. I wouldn't trade my 3 channel pre-2010 dual rec for an older recto. It sounds AWESOME. It's an amp that requires a lot of tweaking though ... Hi guys, Can someone tell me when my dual recto was produced? ID is R-017681. I think it's a very early version of the 3 channel head. There's also no "loop active" marking above the Solo and Output controls, which is something I always saw on other dual rectifiers. Thanks! Tom.

Maxon OD808 all the way! It makes my dual rec sound MEAN! It cuts a bit of bass though and you have to be careful not dialing in too much highs on your amp. I'd also love to try the fulltone OCD.
