I use my Bodenhammar modded TS-9 with the gain at 0 and the tone at 0. The way it attenuates the bass really tightens up the tone and adds more versatility.

Correction: all the indicator lights DO work- I mistakenly thought the On/Off indicator was our but it was the effects loop light which turns on/off depending on whether or not the loop is engaged
