Hi all, i sold my 412 recto cab because my back is killing me and bought a 212 horinzontal recto cab to replace it. Back problem solve :lol: but my beloved blues channel as lost is mojo! do you guys have any tips, settings ,etc... to share for making my blues channel shine again!

Well the t-verb is a pretty unique amplifier so yeah, i would definetly go for the overhaul. Thats what i did. Any good amp tech can change ldr's and its a cheap repair! Or if you dont mind sending it, Mesa is doing it for free! Is there a DIY somewhere on how to change the LDR's - Maybe...

Hmm, i would guess its a 97-98 and yes your ldr's are bound to fail but you may be lucky. My t-verb is an early 96, serial is in the 9XXX and so far 4 ldr's failed on me! hope it helps

Hi all, can you mix 2 x 6l6 and 2 x el34 whit the tverb?. If so, should i left the bias switch at 6l6?

i would say, go for it if the Recto is not for you, you can always trade it for something else or sold it. Just make sure the Recto is in perfect working order! Thats what i would do!

is the THD hotplate 8OHMs really worth it. I have the opportunity to snag one for a reasonable price. pros and cons! Thanks
