OD pedals that work great with the DC-10

No! I actually love the overdriven sound on channel 1 and 2, when I can actually turn it up loud enough. But that's the problem. This amp has to be turned up IMHO to about 2-3 on the output/ch master/gain to get it nice or else it sounds, well, okay. When I'm jammin out with a looper at lower...

OD pedals that work great with the DC-10

Interested to see what kind of od/distortion pedals you had a good experience with this amp..I personally have a ts9 and keeley modded bd2.... LP + keeley bd2 + dc10= awesome! To me this combo has been so much fun, but I want to venture out a little. Some considerations: Catalinbread formula...

Dc-10 too loud for home use :(

Thanks for the input...I've done some soul searchin and decided to consider buying a second amp for practice/home jammin... I'll never sell the dc10 because I love all the sounds I get out of it, and the power attenuator thing doesnt seem to be the answer here.

Dc-10 too loud for home use :(

Let me start by saying I love my dc. Best friggin amp I've ever owned so far. Problem is it's 100 or 60 watts depending on power setting and super loud, so I can't really use it to it's potential much at home unless I jam mid day when no neighbors aren't home. I want to keep this amp and, after...

Time to Change Old 6L6 STR420's on my DC-10

Most of the time when in lead channel, volume all the way up, tone knob in the middle and drive all the way down, but I tweak everything around all the time, like when in clean channel on the amp, I'll hit the tube screamer for the bluesy overdrive without having to crank the gain knob and dime...

    Dc 10 effects loop mod

Hello I just joined and briefly saw something on here about a effects loop mod. Something about wiring in series instead of parallel. Can someone explain in simple terms what this might do for tone improvements? Or will this help with any other effects issues? Right now I have a mxr carbon copy...
