I myself think the weber sounds good but have to disagree that the Hotplate sounds worse or bad...I cant tell a difference really and at times i find the Hotplate to be a little more articulate with my LSC. Guess it comes down to preference but you cant go wrong with either- im sure many will...

yeah it was really weird it was fuzzing up and then the light started flickering (this was in liek 2 secs) so i immediatly turned it off , it turns on fine and no weird noises, i just get paranoid, im gonna do a "soundcheck 2morrow " ill let you know

the power tubes further away from the recto tube should be brighter, as they are used more and use more power....wel actually i think its the 1st and 4th one that does cuz there in pairs, all i know is that yes some of them will be brighter but should be 1st and 4th

Yeah , it seems like its an annoyance but not an actual problem, which kinda sucks, but ill jsut hvae to live, I just dont want anything wrong with my amp obv any other suggestions?

Hey guys, I just bought a Lonestar and have been playing it quite abit, ive noticed one thing that i dont think is a problem, but just want to check with you guys, the problem is that i ahve my lsc set at 100 W for Clean and 50 W for dirty, +tube recto now when i dial in reverb on the 50 W ch it...

off ebay.. paid the guy 20 bucks more to put it as safe as possible. Worked out great, saved about 1500 bucks (canadian) buying it new almost, after tax that is. its in mint shape the only flaw is that it didnt come with castors so im gonna try n buy some from home depot or somethign tommorrow

Headroom to me, is how much you can project to a crowd before sounding ugly, which someone posted already mainly but , i put it relativly to gigging live. So mainly, will I have to mic the amp? or will it sing fine w/o at the type of gigs i play at.
