    Mark IV Owners - HELP...

    I also have the shorthead. I've never had any problems with any clicks with the channel switching/eq. I've never used my loop though. It's one of the smoothest switching amps I've ever heard.

    MARK IV - Searching for a more open low end

    I am using JJ tubes. 2 el34's and 2 6l6's. I have a Mesa Recto Cab (slanted and closed back) with vintage 30's. I've found that bring the bass past 3 tends to mud things up, but I know depending where the treble is, it really affects how the other controls react. I'll give it a whirl.
