something is deffinetly wrong, i live in a subdivistion and i had my amp at channel volume 5 and master volume 8 and they called the president of the association on me

Just make sure you get the right JJs. I always go to Bob at eruotubes.com he can tell you all you need to know and more about tubes. I had stock mesas in my IV and put JJs in but i cant tell any difference :lol:

I just checked out the used site on Guitar Center and they have a new setup to where you can see all the used items in all the stores around the US. When I was looking I found a mark IIC+ for 1599 and thought that was a good price and should let the good people of Boogie Board know about it...

I dont think its the pots because before I bought it alot of them were replaced and cleaned and I dont normally use the R2 so i couldnt tell you that but the clean doesnt seem any different just the lead How do I test to see if the Preamps are good or bad? thanks alot guys for your help

Today when I was playing my MK IV I was on the lead channell and it sounded like the gain was going in and out like from really heavy gain to like hardly any and now the lead channel sounds a bit flat and not as aggressive. I'm not sure what it is mabye preamps? Can someone please help me.

I would suggest waiting for the Mark V (this ones for Gts.) its going to have a really close sound to the C+ but I cant say its exact because I have yet to play one in person to base it off the legendary C+. The mark v is going to be 2100 for a combo so your basically getting a newer amp with...

i dont know if you guys understood correctley i called asking for a mark iv and they said they had a moded mark iii to a C+ and that was 2grand not the the actual mod. i think i read somewhere that the mod is a few hundred hopefully that cleared u\p the confusion
