I own a TC G-System and love it's reverb. Otherwise I'm using the amp's reverb, most of my amps are equipped with spring. On my Mesa Lonestar I wouldn't use anything else than it's own reverb, sounds like heaven, best amp reverb I've heard so far.

Deoxit for me too, but I do not hesitate using contact cleaner. I'm not using the pots a lot once I found their sweet spot. As a quick solution, if you have none of these lying around but urgent to use something, use lighter fluid. On extreme occasions WD-40.
