Any single button latching type switch will work.

Re: How to install a bias pot in a Rectifier

Mikey-Boy, Well, that's an intelligent and insightful reply to my post! Makes me feel really welcome here on the board. The fact is that my Roadster is sounding really great, and John Mansfield really went the extra mile to fix me up with a bias probe that works well and allows me to do the adjustm...

More Mansfield alt spam?

Funny how all these guys who rant and rave and go on with lengthy posts like this all have like 10 posts.

Re: 2ch dual recto need Metallica tone xD

I think thats not it. To low gain. Sound like a little chrunch. But thanks. I usually ran mine up around 1:00. Kirk runs his around 1:30. Anyway, here's where I originally found those settings. http://www.montyjay.com/jamestriplerectosettings.html and (Kirk uses channel 2 on modern, you can see the...

Re: Loop Mod

You already have a serial loop, so there's no need to do any modification to it.

Re: Recto vs Stiletto 4x12s (Clips)

I honestly like the Recto the best, although, depending on what style music I'm going for, I could find a use for all of them except the DM cab. Sounds like ass, just like Dave does.

Re: Pics of Serial Mod done on my 2 Chan Triple Rec. HELP!

That is right.

The LED should still work though, and the loop can still be switched on and off. At least it did on my 2 channel Dual.

^^^

What he said.

Unless you're pushing the amp into power amp distortion, you're not pushing 150 watts out of it. Probably more like 20-30.

Re: Dual or Triple

The differences are slight. I own a Dual and can't imagine owning a Triple in terms of volume. The Duals are so effing loud and the sheer cost of a retube on a triple had me steer clear of them. But like everything it boils down to personal preference. This. I've owned both Triples and Duals, and I...

Re: Rectifier with a Blackstar 1x12 (UPDATED)

While they both sound good, I actually like the Seventy 80 more. It seems like the Seventy 80 is fuller, while the WGS is a little more scooped sounding.

Depends on what you're going for, I guess. I dig both tones.

Re: 3 channel Triple Rectifier Loop Mod.(Parallel to Series)

hi, I took my 3 channel dual to a technician after failing to mod it myself (it would still have some unprocessed signal going through the loop), he did it (tone was better after his mod) and still I had some residual signal passing through it. I told him, he did some tests and told me that the res...

Re: Single Rectifier problem

The blue tint is normal. Most tubes do that when taken off standby. What preamp tubes did you swap? V1 controls both channels. V2 and V3 control channel 2. V4 is the effects loop V5 is the phase inverter. Sounds like you need to replace V1 if it's affecting both channels. It's the closest to the inp...

Sounds damn good!

Is that a cover or an original? Sounds pretty badass.
