Basically, just hook it up, and crank the amp, turn the knobs. It's pretty simple. On the -16dB setting, the knob on the right will adjust the volume. On every other setting, it will do nothing. Just mess with it, and you will know if it works or not.

I love the JJ E34Ls. I have a set of those in my Recto, and absolutely love them. I've had Svets, Sovs, and about anything else in there, and always keep going back to JJs. I also like their 6L6s, but not nearly as much as the E34Ls. They have a high end bite, and more grit than 6L6s.

That's odd. I can't see how a 16 ohm speaker would do anything differently than an 8 ohm speaker can. It's only an impedance issue.

I think if that were the case, there would be more people buying 16 ohm speakers, and there would be a lot more 16 ohm speakers being made.

I have never had that problem. What type of delay did you have this problem with? Did you contact boogie? If so what did they reccomend? 054... I was using a Boss DD-20. Mesa said it had something to do with phase cancellation, and they sent me a schematic to modify the effects loop from parallel t...

How did putting the JJ12ax7 and el34 change the sound? I think my triple rec is to muddy and doesn't have enough gain so I have been thinking about changing my tubes. I like the JJs. Some people don't like them because they are too "dark", but I don't hear it. They sound better than any other tube ...

I've heard rumors of a Mark V within the last 6 months, but unsure about the release date.

I'll agree with keeping the send level maxed. That's the only way I will run mine. I also run it at 100% as well. No problems, only tone :)

I did the EMGs, but I also like the sound of a good beefy passive pickup as well. Here's some of my settings on my 2 channel Dual- Clean: (in o'clock positions) Master: 11 Prescence: 1:30 Bass: 9 Mids: 9 Treble: 9 Gain: 9 I'm also running thru an Aural Exciter and a Digitech Valve Fx on the orange c...

thx
IMO, the JJ preamp tube are a little darker, but not very much. The power amp tubes scream. I have all JJs in my Dual Recto and love them compared to every other tube I've had.
