Re: TRiaxis FX loop woes.

Two things come to mind: 1) your V5 tube is iffy. Try replacing it and see if that fixes your problem. It's the tube that is closest to the FX Send/Return jacks. 2) you have a bad power supply. Though not as extreme as dropping out completely, I sometimes get a weird out-of-phase type tone if my Tri...

Not wanting to stray too much off-topic, but yes, a MkIIC+ slaved into a JCM800.

Re: Triaxis with a Marshall EL34 100/100

I run the TriAxis into my Marshall JVM's poweramp for chuckles sometimes and I always end up seriously considering that tone as my main (but I don't use it since it's obviously very impractical and each amp separately sounds awesome anyway). It's not the same poweramp as the EL34 100/100 but I dare ...

Re: Gibson SG + Bare Knuckles Pickups + Mark V

Jackie, your set is ceramic or alnico? Alnico, I kind of wanted to steer away from the cleanliness of ceramics since my Nailbomb set replaced a pair of EMGs. +1 on contacting them directly. I had a multitude of questions and they answered all of them in a clear and concise manner. You can tell they...

Re: Gibson SG + Bare Knuckles Pickups + Mark V

I have a Nailbomb calibrated set in my home-made explorer and I LOVE it with my TriAxis/2:90 combo, which is tonally quite close to the Mark V. Rippin' but warm midrange, clear as day without being harsh, just enough bottom end. Plenty of output, but these pickups clean up a lot and are very dynamic...

Re: 2:90/TriAxis badly misbehaving

Thanks for your responses, guys. I had tested all my cables and they checked out. I jumped to the pot conclusion as well, but that wouldn't explain the 2:90 going silent. Is there a way to clean the pots without taking them out? I went through the setup at the rehearsal space with the other guitaris...

2:90/TriAxis badly misbehaving

Well, here's one that made me sh!t my pants: Let me start off by saying that I keep my amp(s) in a controlled environment free from dust, moisture, extreme hot/cold and away from prying hands. It's literally just sitting there until it's rehearsal time. The other day, my TriAxis sounded like it had ...

Yeah, that of all things. He should've stopped singing after Rust in Peace. :?

A formidable rhythm guitarist he is, that is for sure.

Re: 2:90 hum on channel b

I also have a blue pilot light version. I pulled each PI separately to see which channel would stop working when each tube is not in and that's what I found.

Re: Turning a Floyd Rose into... NOT a floyd rose?

Simply put the string in the tuner hole other way around, put the end without the ball into the Floyd, when your cut off the excess string you also cut off the ball end :)

Re: Few questions for triaxis owners

Thanks!

It was completely stock, I hadn't even tube rolled it then. It's still stock now but I put in different preamp tubes.
