Re: Recto Reborn - Vintage mode - Channel 2

The new reborn is killer, and I really enjoy it. I enjoy as much as my coveted TOV, which still gets a lot of love. The new dual just sounds a little better in some regards with the cleaner / better effects loop. Another animal is the roadster. Which again sounds different to my ears. I have all 3 a...

Re: Dual Reborn vs Roadster

I'm struggling with the same right now. I'm a dual recto guy and now can freely admit it. No matter what amp I play I always try to get dual rec tones so I gave in. Currently own a 94 TOV and 06 roadster. Both are great both are different enough to justify having. Cut to the dual red reborn. I playe...

Re: Mesa Rectifier Reborn For Sale

Great condition recto reborn. No issues except one of the plastic brackets in back that hold the basket broke off (this is how I got it). Basket still connects and it has no issues what so ever. Comes with slip cover and foot switch. $1200 shipped/paypaled $1150 local Chicago pick up Thanks! http:/...

Re: Who uses a V30 in their combo?

I would do it and run it at 90 watts. For the amp to be at fill tilt would never happen at the volumes you would need if playing out it if its mic'd. For it to hit 7o watts and blow the speaker you would need to have the volume up around 2-3 o'clock and that would be crazy loud.

Re: Get it while you can!!!!!

I mean, just like the Mark III Limited edition, these are the standard amp with a custom cabinet and serial These 40th V's also have 2 killer MOP/Abolone inlays with the 40th logo and such- there is still one I have access to- uninflated of course- if anyone is interested, PM me- I can get pics and...

I laughed when I read this. You were going to sell it, but then saw the video and now your going to keep it?

Have you spent time dialing it in?

Re: Dual Rectifier Revison Question

in all honesty, if you want a nice spread of recto tones without spending the cash.... I think you should buy a Trem-o-verb and a roadster.

Again, this is my opinion.

the pre500's are nice and do have their thing, but its up to you to decide if its worth the premium.

Re: Give up Lonestar to get Mark V?

I just played a Mark V and I'm very impressed, to the point where I'm thinking I want it. I've got a Lonestar 212 combo right now and would be getting a Mark V head and some sort of cab. Thing is, to really afford to get the Mark V (and keep peace at home) I'd probably have to give up my Lonestar i...

Re: Roadster owners - please give your honest opinion

Please all Roadster owners give honest opinion about Roadster reliability. I'm reading this forum all the time and I really want to buy Roadster, it is awesome sounding amo, just like I always wanted. But reading all topics I see many things broken in all Rectifiers, many of them can be fixed by ea...

No, it will be fine.

I bought one and it take a while to warm up (like 10 minutes) but once it gets going its a beast.

I say your covered.
