Re: Dual rectifier - cabinet question

I use two Mesa Triples for my 4-4×12's, might be the best way to use 2 amps, not sure there is another way, works great!

I posted the picture.
Yes, 250V fuse.
The 3A fuse is there because someone put it there.

Re: Potentially dumbass triple rectifier fuse question

The older 2 channel triples take a 6.25 amp SB fuse, the newer rev g triples are 4 amp.

I have 2 of the older rev f triples.

Re: Mesa Boogie DC-5 "Pop" Sound on channel change... tubes?

Same thing was wrong with my DC-5 head, I sent it to Mesa to get fixed and they sent it back to me, nothing was different, the popping noise was still there, Rich Duvall from Mesa told me it's just the way the circuit works, and it can't be fixed, so I sold it.

Good luck

Re: Complete Tube Swap - Dual Rec - Rev F

1. matched pairs in the correct bias range 2. my experience is that I didn't like it, maybe it was the Chinese tubes, I do like Tung Sol and JJ. I don't use any boost pedals or the effects loop (off), and I use the silicon rec because it tightens up my tone. I hope some new glass will make a differe...

Re: what brand el84's are being shipped in Mesa's today???

EL84/6BQ5 Russian
5881 STR 425 Russian
6V6 STR 417 Chinese

Sovtek's are made in Russia, JJ's are made in The Czech Republic, which Mesa is currently using for their 12AX7A.

Only other company in Russia making 6L6 is/was Svetlana.

Re: Mesa Mark III Black Stripe Questions

I'm sure there is, you can search the interweb, I've never needed to switch anything that much on my Mark III Coli.

Single rec series one fixed bias?

I was wondering if the single rec version one, was fixed bias like all the other Mesa amps from the factory or did it have a bias adjustment?
