Re: New Mesa 6L6 Tube offerings? STR 441 & 443

The fire was August 2019. The Changsha city government will not let the factory rebuild in its original location, so they are planning to possibly rebuild in a different location.

Sweet! I recognized a few of them, but it was kinda hard to tell some of the others from the video.

Looks like a good time! If you don't mind me asking, what pedals are you running on your pedal board?

You don't have any Russian preamp tubes in the cathode follower positions do you? I believe they are V3 and V5. Other than that I would suggest contacting Mesa and asking them.

Re: Road King II Footswitch confusion, please help

I did notice the buttons were different for the Roadster also. I don't know why, but they are. They are much easier on bare feet that is for sure! I have some of these for my acoustic board, that's the only time I play barefoot lately. https://barefootbuttons.com/ I actually bought a bunch of these...

Re: Farewell, 4x12. Farewell, dreams of youth...

Shortly after I took up the guitar I realized that I simply had no interest in practicing enough to ever get good enough at it to make any money. And that never stopped me from acquiring more gear and more guitars and making many guitars. Today in my 50s I restore vintage Marshalls to a level that ...

You don't have any spare tubes to try out? I can't say for sure it is a tube problem, but that's the first place I would look.

Re: 6ca7 Tubes

I did end up getting a Stiletto Deuce II and I am running the 6ca7's I had in my Roadster in it. I went back to the 6l6's because the first set of 6ca7 tubes I had one red plate on me. Didn't damage anything, so I sent them back under warranty and got a slightly colder biased set. I tried them again...

Re: Solo 50 blew

You most likely have a bad power tube and shouldn't turn the amp on again till they are both replaced. It will keep blowing fuses till it's fixed. You only need to warm the tubes up for a minute or so, any more isn't doing anything to help.

Re: Finally got a Deuce II !!

The Stiletto is an amazing amp that would be perfect if it had two clean and dirty channels with reverb like the Roadster.

It's an awesome amp for sure. It sounds incredible in a stereo rig with my Roadster! I know I love mine and can't believe these aren't more popular.

Re: My Stiletto Trident and 4x12 Cab..

I've been looking for a nice used one without much luck. I probably will bite the bullet and buy new. I've been using my Acoustic 4x12 with the Stilletto and my 2x12 with my Roadster.
