Re: Solo 50 blew

You most likely have a bad power tube and shouldn't turn the amp on again till they are both replaced. It will keep blowing fuses till it's fixed. You only need to warm the tubes up for a minute or so, any more isn't doing anything to help.

Re: Finally got a Deuce II !!

The Stiletto is an amazing amp that would be perfect if it had two clean and dirty channels with reverb like the Roadster.

Re: Finally got a Deuce II !!

It's an awesome amp for sure. It sounds incredible in a stereo rig with my Roadster! I know I love mine and can't believe these aren't more popular.

Re: My Stiletto Trident and 4x12 Cab..

I've been looking for a nice used one without much luck. I probably will bite the bullet and buy new. I've been using my Acoustic 4x12 with the Stilletto and my 2x12 with my Roadster.

Re: Switch to el34 on single recto

I would start by checking the fuse first. Make sure the switch is in the correct position for the tubes you are using.

NAD Stilletto Deuce Stage II

Well I finally got my Stilletto Deuce head I've been wanting since I bought my Roadster head a few years ago! I found a mint one on Ebay with all the original accessories, manual, cover ect. included. I watched it for a couple weeks and forgot about it. Finally saw it was relisted and made an offer ...

Re: EL 34's

Sounds common then! It's a shame, because the first set was the best sounding tubes I have had in the amp.

Re: EL 34's

Now that I have a quad of EH6CA7, will have to squeeze them into the Roadster and see what happens. I tried them in the RA100 combo just for kicks. I did not care for the KT77 in the Roadster but those tubes rocked quite well in the Mark V. I have a quad of JJ 6ca7 and really liked them in my Roads...

Re: Triple Rec vs Studio Preamp

BTW, Studio preamp is NOT the same as the preamp in the Studio/Caliber series of amps.
How does the Studio Preamp sound compared to the Studio .22 amp?

Re: V1 Tube Shield

Makes no difference with or without it on my Roadster Head. First thing I did when I got it was remove it. I noticed no difference either way so it stays off.
