Mark IIC+ original inquiry/help.

Hey everyone, need some help! Let me start by saying Inused to own a simul/rev/GEQ IIC+ a long time ago. I’ve been missing it so I’m on the verge of trading a Two Rock for another. The downside is, it’s bare bones. The upside is, it’s original. Serial 14345, no Reverb, no GEQ, 60 watt (not 60/100). ...

Mark IV Signed by Randall Smith.

Mesa Boogie Mark IV combo, signed by Randall Smith himself (founder). Amp works perfect, but has been gigged. It has a Cannabis Rex in it right now, but I can put a 100watt Eminence Guit fiddle in if you want, or ship with nothing. Footswitch has one LED that is pushed in, light still works, but jus...

Mark IV with a 50 watt speaker

Is it possible? Does tweed lower wattage, or just the input signal? I always keep the amp in triode and tweed.

Re: Mark IV Rhythm 2 mod for more gain?

RHY2 is the only channel on any amp where I can crank the treble without it getting too bright. My treble and gain are 10...while I would love to have the gain of LEAD, it has its own unique character that I love. If you have a successful mod, please let us know!

Re: Power tube question, and live settings

Sorry, it is supposed to say I’m having trouble taming brightness when playing live.

Re: Suhr and Mark IV

Probably so, the DSH* is both hot and a very rounded and warm pickup. It has surprised me, I dig it. It is a perfect picture of dynamic and powerful, awesomely versatile and smooth.

Re: Suhr and Mark IV

I absolutely love it, one of the better pickups I’ve ever owned. I suppose, however, that it could also be mediocre and the guitar is just that good haha! It’s all wonderful. Very dynamics, warm, allows you to be yourself. Genuinely does it all.

Re: Suhr and Mark IV

I had this one made for me, and I’m in love! Basswood body, waterfall Burl top, solid pao ferro neck and board. DSH+/DSV, 5 way. Bigger modern elliptical neck.
