Re: Midrange mod on TA-15

I liked mine so much that I picked up another one just for a backup. I put some NOS !2AX7s and EL84s in the first one and wow, what a crazy great difference!!

Mesa Boogie Heartbreaker Head .... SOLD!! Please delete.

Up for grabs is a minty Mesa Heartbreaker head . They are not that easy to come across any more, particularly in NOS condition. I am the second owner since 2005 and this amp to my knowledge hasn't ever been gigged or beat on. No tears, no flaws and still delivers the goods. So, what is a Heartbreake...

Mesa MkIII footswitch by Voodoo Man

At one time I had two Mesa MkIII amps and they were great but I moved on to other stuff. One thing I kept in case I ever bought another MkIII is the Voodoo Man foot switch. Well, it's time to let her go to someone who will actually use it. It's great being able to use all functionality of the amp. T...

What is a good DAW app for a beginner with a slow computer?

:?:

Actually my computer isn't all that slow but don't know if it can handle audio. i'm running a HP i7 with Win 10 Pro.

Is that Reaper any good?

BTW, currently I'm running an Alesis HD24 which is pretty old school but I really liked it. I'm sure getting up to date will be a good thing.

Re: Metal grill 4x12's. tell me

These are great cabinets, I used to have one and regret selling it. Mine had the option of removing the top back portion to make it a half back. I preferred the top closed. The cab in split vertically for stereo. The EV's are great speakers. I played various Mark series heads even had a Matrix GT10...

Re: Mini rec .... I have one on the way but not sure what to

Wow !! What a stunning amp!! You are right about the clean channel and OD you can get from it... amazing! Yeah, it's easier to overdrive those EL84s and get that old school tone from this amp. I haven't put much time on it yet, but the modern setting on the 10W mode was an eye opener!! That is somet...

Mini rec .... I have one on the way but not sure what to

expect! I've owned a 92 2 channel which I really liked, and a later 3 channel which I didn't care for (except for the clean channel). So will the mini be fuzzy at all or will it be more like the vintage early Dual Recs? or something else all together? I'm thinking that the EL84s and the 10W mode may...
