Re: Which Mark iv?

So in your opinion, the speaker change is a bigger deal than the change in channel 2?

Which Mark iv?

If having a choice between a very good condition early 90's version A compact combo with an EV speaker, or an '07 version B wide body combo in mint condition and a C90 speaker. . . . What would you choose? And why?

Re: My in-depth Mark V review

I gotta say................. From my perspective that's right on the money. Damn nice job. They may not be for everyone (what is??) but if they're what you crave, there's nothing like a Mark.

You know what I reckon if it did happen it would probably be a rectifier with a five band EQ Probably. Heaven preserve us. It'd be guitar shops full of wasp sounding guitars, all over the world. As an army of 15 year olds sought to rid the world of mid frequencies Boogie Board quote of the year! Am...

Re: Are people happy with their Mark V combos?

Gotta say I love mine. And for &1300!!!!!!!! I'd love two of em! I didn't like the C90 until I broke it in. Now, for an open back combo, it sounds incredibly BIG!! Not a channel or mode that I don't find very musical and useful. Best money I ever spent on an amp (and I was nowhere near as lucky as y...

Re: FX Loop Volume Issue

That's funny because I'm running the same way, except for a carbon copy in the loop, and my volume goes UP slightly when I engage the loop. Hmmmmmm

Re: Mark V combo issue

No red plating tubes either. And it's right when I turn it on. Nothing playing at all when it happens. The fact that it eventually stops and works is what's driving me nuts. But no power tube red plating. :|

Mark V combo issue

Hello all, I'm hoping someone can shed some light on a problem I'm having with my Mark V combo. I bought it new and have it less than a year, and it started making a terrible hum/buzz. Happens as soon as I take it off standby. On all channels, with loop on & off, and on all wattages. Even if I unplu...
