Channel 2 (drive) was still normal....

Lonestar clean channel getting muddy

Hey All.
The clean channel on my Lonestar just started getting muddy. (dark, bassy, lacking brilliance).
The drive channel sounds fine.
I would guess I need to replace some tubes...
Can someone tell me which tubes, (power or pre or both) are dedicated to the clean channel.
Thanks.

lonestar - loss of volume in clean channel

Hey all. I recently bought a Lonestar 2x12. I absolutely adore the amp. Problem is just this past week the power (volume) in the clean channel has dropped about 50% and sounds terribly thin. channel 2 sounds normal. I tend to run the gain pretty high on the clean channel.- I love how you can keep a ...

Tone changed

Hi, new to the forum. I have a 525 plus that I love. I'm a bit of a tone freak ( I suspect that's why we're all here) :) I'm a seasoned player.I play a vintage strat with Texas specials. I like to play in the crunch mode with gain at 2oclock. Sweet break up, chimey, delicate, rich harmonics, crazy n...
