Volume between channels

I've got a 2005 Lonestar version 1, (blue pig). I've had it since 2015 and have pretty much always had the drive engaged on channel two. I was just doing some experimenting with taking the drive out of the circuit. I set up both channels identical with gain full on both. According to the manual, "Se...

The beauty of the LSC is that you can run 6L6s, EL34s, 6V6s, or EL84s.

Just for the clarification, you can't run EL84 in LSC. LSS only runs them.
Wasn't aware that you could use 6V6s either. Mine only has a 6L6/EL34 switch.

Re: Score or what?

Yes you did score big time. Even a better deal than the blue 2005 LSC 1x12 I got for $650. I've never done any mods to mine and I'm satisfied with it. I run both channels at 100 watts and it sounds great at any volume. I don't find a need for an attenuator. Each channel has its own master volume and...

SPAM

I tried to report an obvious spam post a couple days ago and it said it was already reported.
The post is still there.

Re: Hello?

I must say, this is a very quiet corner of the Boogie Board. Maybe we have learned all there is to know about the Lonestar and, due to the models’ sheer reliability no-one has any problems to report? :?:  The whole board is kind of a ghost town. I can't believe how little chatter there has...

Re: NAD - Lone Star Classic 410 Combo

I've never seen a 4x10 version. What speakers does it come with? Two Jensen P10R and two Vintage Black Shadows I would bet it had four Black Shadows originally and the previous owner replaced two with the Jensens. I wonder if the Black Shadows are the same as the 10" in my Subway Blues. It's an Emi...

I'll bet that sounds great. I hope it has wheels. My Lonestar 1x12 is heavy enough.

I've been running both channels at 100w and it sounds great at any volume. Fantastic reverb controllable on each channel and 2 voices.

Re: Fender guy here, went with a LSC to pair with my DRRI

You got a good deal--Even if you only use it for the clean channel, which to me is one of the best out there. If you didn't get the user manual, I would download one here: http://mesaboogie.com/media/User%20Manuals/Lonestar.pdf The manual is useful for the interactive tone controls and has many usef...

Re: Help on LSS/LSC clean tone

Love my LSS, had it for 12 months. Mostly use drive in CH2, at moderate levels in rehearsal (drive 10 o'clock, gain 1 o'clock), 5W, for creamy singing bluesy lead and slide , (LP and SG); cleans up nicely on the guitar volume pot for finger-style rhythms. Digging in with a pick get a lovely crunch....

I'm sorry that I cannot help you and there does not seem to be much action on this forum.
If I were you I'd call Mesa customer service. They have been very helpful in the past.

Re: LoneStar Classic Settings

Did you buy it new? If so it should have a user manual. If you don't have one you can download one here http://mesaboogie.com/media/User%20Manuals/LoneStar-10w.pdf The Mesa user manuals are extremely helpful and always include very useful sample settings that at the very least provide a good place t...
