Re: My Custom Lonestar Special Headshell & Cab

How much to build the head cab? I would love to get a smaller head cab for my Lonestar Classic.

An old vintage Rat sounds great on any tube amp. From a little bit of dirt to thick OD/Dist

Re: BK Butler Tube Driver,ok with the lonestar classic?

I've used one with my Lonestar and they sound nice. But out of all the pedals I've used the Vintage Proco Rat(mine are both from 85-86) provides me the thickest tone and gets me the closest to Timmons territory. I actually run two.....one with drive at 10:00....one with drive at 1:00.

Re: LSC + Bogner La Grange = OMG!!!!!!!!

Congrats on your tone. I currently run two Vintage Proco Rats with my Lonestar. I have tried several pedals & nothing works better for me. Have you used a Vintage Rat and if so how does the Bogner compare?

Re: LSC + Bogner La Grange = OMG!!!!!!!!

I have finally found my OD tone on my beloved LSC!!! I have tried so many pedals looking for that elusive OD tone that works well with my amp, I have lost count. Lonestar with strat

I have been real happy with my Lonestar Classic and Rectifier cab but was primarily using guitars equipped with humbuckers. I'm starting to get back into playing my strats but am having a hard time getting the same quality of sound from the amp with single coils. Do most of you strat players use the...

Re: Forgetting about CH2 LSC v2

I have had the same feelings as a lot of folks her with channel two. Been tweaking a lot the past week and am getting some real good tones out of channel two. This may sound simple but read the manual, read the manual and read the manual. I have read it quite a few times this week and paid attention...

Re: Forgetting about CH2 LSC v2

Well, I once had a lodestar head and sold it because "I just didn't like it". Then years after I gave it another chance and that was it, now I can't get rid of it. I love the whole thing! Both channels, everyone in my band love the amp as well. It is a very versatile amp and I realized that all I n...

Nice playing and fantastic tone. What were that amp settings for channel 2 & what did that mod change?
