That's not all it does, obviously.

Just like a Mark IV isn't just for playing Metallica. I've even seen Larry Carlton playing a pair of Mark IVs.

Mesa doesn't have any more IIC+ faceplates in stock. They have to install a Mark III faceplate instead. That and the "upgrade" costs $450 to start.

Re: Mark IV buying advice

Thanks for the replies. I actually sorted out the last question (I think) by reading the instructions - seems like there's a switch at the back that turns the EQ permanently 'on', 'off' or 'footswitchable'. From what's been said, I think the guy's asking more for it than I should pay. I think $1000...

Re: Mark IV having issues

Hey all, My Mark IV has been acting rather odd for a while. A few months ago (I haven't been home much to play it since I'm away for school), the amp completely fused out. I replaced the fuse and have been running it on a lower power setting, but, overtime, I noticed that the amp takes about 10 min...

Re: Gibson SG Standard questions!?

Hey guys, I have a SG Standard and have been meaning to change the pickups. Was wondering if I could get some advise about p-up brands and combinations. . . ? I highly recommend Manlius Pickups. For the SG, I'd probably go with either the Landmark or the Fat Dianne. I installed the HR59s in my doub...

Re: King Snake Investment

Don't know what forum to put this in but here goes... Local store got a King Snake in. I have a couple Boogies I gig with and can't justify the need to get this gig-wise, but would it just be a good investment value-wise? Help me make the argument... You'd be far better served investing in the stoc...

Interesting, any update?

Not one of those ubiquitous uA741 op-amp chips?

I highly suspect the reason might be, you've become too good of a guitar player for music like that.

Re: Just bought a Mark II C+ from GC, but there is no "+" on

The serial number fall in the C+ production range. That and the fact that it passed the loop test I would safely say its a C+. I've heard of factory pluses once or twice that didn't have the + above the power cord. I don't know why this is maybe someone more knowledgeable that I knows the answer to...
