Re: Mark III blue stripe vs Mark IV??

Curious to which channel is the one awesome channel. The clean and lead channels are grail tone all day on a Mark 4. I haven't found any amp that goes where a Mark 4 goes on ch.1 & 3. (I use ch.2 the most when playing live!)

Re: Mark III blue stripe vs Mark IV??

I have a transition Mark 4 that has A & B elements. It knocks off any Mark amp I've owned. It's different than the other Mark 4's I've owned. It rules. When I bought it my drummer exclaimed, "Wow! That is the best amp you've ever used! My God, what a sound!" I will fire up the C++ every so often jus...

https://reverb.com/item/22109806-mesa-boogie-mark-i-combo-1976-factory-upgraded-simul-class-drg-padauk-hardwood-wicker IMO, currently over-priced by $2000.00 but one man's opinion means nuttin! I've seen Mark I's that I almost bought that were very similar if not more intriguing for around $800.00-$...

Re: Mark IIC+ original inquiry/help.

The GEQ is a must for me. I played a non-GEQ over the weekend. The GEQ is a must for me, X2 + 4 X 1238. The GEQ is approximately, if my math is off a little, worth 1,000,000 times better. Every thing better. It was like trying to speak without being able to open my mouth or like having a pillow over...

Re: WANTED Mark IIB combo amp brown speaker grill

I've made many, including wicker. If you would provide me with a link to the grill you wish to have, either a picture of the amp you want to copy or a website such as Mojo-tone, I'll give you a price with shipping.

Re: Why Are Mark Vs So Expensive?

? They're inexpensive compared to what's on the market. Most amps from established manufacturers are priced similarly but do not have 1/5th of the options or refinements of a MESA amp. Boogie amps retain their value because they rarely need repair and sound so much better than three knob, one-trick ...

Re: Love my red stripe Mesa Mark III...GAS'n for a Mark IIc+. Am I really missing a lot?

I have a Mark 2C++ and have owned a few Mark III"s. Different and better, yes. Worth it, yes. Missing a lot, no, but why have #2 when you can have #1? That's the difference. They sound similar enough that you don't need a 2C+ but you will find that the C+ responds quicker and tighter with more of a ...

Not this time, I bought it with the wicker already installed. Currently I've paired it with a Boogie EV Thiele. :P
