Re: TUBE LIFE....

Wow that is terrible. and it shows with my new tubes...I've now had TWO different tubes "short" out in the first week...Are you saying there's nowhere to get high quality 6L6's? I cannot believe MESA hasn't stuck to high quality stuff...Unless there just aren't any options for their sourcing...I fin...

Re: Tube Scare (normal?) "has this happened to you?"

I live 10 minutes from the MESA factory in Petaluma. I bought these tubes from an "authorized" dealer also near me and assumed they would be top of the line (wouldn't think there would be grades of tubes with MESA on the box)... So the first "blue-hot" tube has been acting fine for a few days but la...

TUBE LIFE....

I bought a used MKV about 4 years ago and was pretty thrilled with it. (duh!) After many hours (in years) of using it I started to dislike the tone. After trying many "tone" altering pedals, pups, settings etc. my brain woke up and decided to change tubes. I started with new power tubes. That was it...

Re: Midi Switchers.....Which one???

@MESAENGR412 --> HI, maybe you have a minute to try to answer a question. I too have a Midimate and I'm setting it up with a Voodoo GCX audio loop unit. No prob getting the GCX to switch my MKV channels and switch presets of my G-maj 2 so here's my issue. In MM control "mode" I have BTN 5-9 set up w...

MIDI MATE W/ GCX AUDIO SWITCHER

Hello, I know they're different makers but they do work together. I have the MM changing patches of a G-maj 2 and switching MKV amp channels etc. BUT, Does anyone know how to combine these? Say MM ch 14 is "lead EFX" which needs MKV Ch-3.. I can step on MM button 8 for amp ch-3 and another for MM "p...
