Re: TA30 - Transformer seems really hot after 30 minutes

I got a response from Mesa support....

They said:
That is completely normal - keep in mind that power is dissipated through heat.

TA30 - Transformer seems really hot after 30 minutes

Just picked up a, "supposedly", NOS 2014 TA30 1x12 combo today (in a trade).....The guy I got it from, bought it from from a music store going out of business 5 years ago. It looks brand new and still had all the hang tags on it. SN was in the upper 2000's (close to 2800), which looks about right. G...

Re: What's the actual weight of the Mark V 1x12 combo?

trying to talk drunk mates out of helping to carry out gear is a nightmare too. This is a universal nightmare!!! It seems like after ever gig, there's a drunk patron, or 2 or 3, that asks if we need help. It makes me cringe every time to even think of it  On a side note.. I seen a shirt that...

Re: What's the actual weight of the Mark V 1x12 combo?

Now when it comes to transporting, if you have to lift and then sit it down into a trunk I feel sorry for you. An SUV would be a good option if you have one. I tried to bring my Mark IV combo to a friends house using my Mustang. I think I had issue fitting it into the trunk due to mounted speakers ...

Re: What's the actual weight of the Mark V 1x12 combo?

When I bought mine, years ago, I was driving an '02 camaro. I bought it from a local dealer and it took 3 of us to get it in my camaro. In its original box it wouldn't even fit. I remember almost instantly getting buyers remorse and I hadn't even left the parking lot. I thought, how the heck am I e...

What's the actual weight of the Mark V 1x12 combo?

The Mesa website has it listed at 65 pounds.... All the online retailers (like Sweetwater), have it listed at 80 pounds? I know, why don't I just put mine on the scale??? Well, I had back surgery a month ago and am at a 40 pound limit and will be able to work up to 60-ish in another month. But if it...

WTB: Mark V head shell

Sorry if this is considered "double posting".

I have another thread wanting to trade my combo cab for a head shell.....But I'd rather just buy an empty head shell for my Mark V, any color.

Thanks!

Trade: Mesa Mark V 1x12 combo cab for head shell (cabs only)

I have a Mesa Boogie Mark V 1x12 combo and due to recent back issues, I'm needing to make it a head & cab. I'm looking to trade my empty combo cab for an empty head shell. I'll leave the reverb tank in and would want the same with the head. I'd also be interested in buying an empty head shell? I am ...

Looks like it, but I can verify it's babied beyond belief. It wasn't like this 2 weeks ago (my last gig), went straight to my closet with the grill side up against the wall.

Speaker grill is "warped" looking on combo?

Took the cover off my Mark V combo this weekend and the speaker grill was all "wavy" and just looked funny. What caused this and has anyone else had this happen? Any way to fix? Could it just be the fact it went from a hot car to an air-conditioned stage? If so, it never returned to normal, still li...
