Re: The Beauty of Mark IV Rhythm 2 ch.
I do like channel 2. But it varies with guitar. My LP is not at its best on channel 2, channel 3 is better for it. My SG thrives on channel 2.

Re: Does Mark II fit in Nomad Cabinet?
I have both a Nomad 45 1x12 combo and a Mark IVb 1x12 combo. I know the Mark IVb would not fit into the Nomad.
Is your Mark 2c+ the same size as a Mark IV?
If you have measurements of your Mark 2c+?
I can compare them to my Nomad to see if they are close.

Re: Is this normal for DC series, or any "output Level" amp
For what it's worth, on my Mark IV, if I have the channel volume set to zero and the output volume above 0, I can still hear some output. Not quite the same as what you are describing, but curious nonetheless.
I too would be curious if anyone else experiences this.

Re: Mark IV Rhy 2 Footswitch Problem
Personally, I would tend to discount tubes as being the issue ... much more likely to be either a cable issue or a loose connection within the foot-switch itself.

Re: TA30 - Transformer seems really hot after 30 minutes
It's hard to tell "how hot is how" in text. But, the transformer on my TA-30 does get quite warm by the time church is over. At that point, it's been on for probably 5 hours, with about 2 of those being on standby,

Re: TA-15 Loud POP When Powering Off
Does the wattage setting make a difference?
I have a TA-30 and have not run into this issue. Perhaps it is unique to the TA-15?
And, I know this sounds like a broken record, but call Mesa. They are excellent at giving tech support over the phone.

Not to sound like a pat answer, but give Mesa a call. They are excellent with help for things like this.

Re: Is anyone playing blues with a Mk IV?
May sound weird, but I get a decent blues tone when I max channel 1's gain, lower the bass and add a bit of mids. This is with a SG (for what it's worth).

Re: TA30 112 LED problem
I have not had that issue with mine.
Does it exhibit the same behavior when you change wattage?

I started playing in the late 60s. I was 14 or 15 at the time.

Re: Strange reverb issue with TA30 1x12 combo
One thing you may want to try is running a patch cable for your effects loop. In the TA-30, the effects loop must be engaged in order to use the reverb. I wonder if the issue may be in that part of the amp.

Re: Strange reverb issue with TA30 1x12 combo
I tried the reverb on mine. On the red channel, no matter the mode or wattage on mine, I can crank the reverb ... and I get none of the feedback you describe. You might want to give Mesa a call and describe it to them. I have called them in the past and they have been extremely helpful in diagnosing...
