Re: The potential of the underrated 3ch Dual Rectifier!

Great job :) Enjoyed listening those clips of yours. It’s always nice to see that somebody has given time and thought to these demonstrations. Nice playing and engineering. Personally I would not use the raw mode, as the tone was not of my liking but it worked really well in your clip. As I used to ...

Re: Rectifier Preamp Mono Record out?

Hey Boogie People I have a Rectifier Recording Preamp. I am using SSL SiX as our board in our studio - and there's just not enough inputs. I have an aux send on my SiX to a Lexicon MPX1 that stereofies the signal. Can I just run a mono Record line off the Boogie to the SiX? I looked through the man...

Re: Royal Atlantic footswitch cable

Hello. If I am not mistaken a standard 6,3mm TRS - TRS cable should be the proper one. Like this https://www.thomann.de/fi/cae_audiokabel_30.htm That is exactly the same type of cable that I just bought today to test, which didn't work. Perhaps it needs to be an unbalanced cable? Does it change cha...

Re: Your Mark V faceplate replacement advice?

Hey Folks, Like a # of the early Mark Vs, my combo's outer faceplate had the writing wear off in spots and I'll be replacing it shortly. It appears to be attached via just a set of allen screws that could be removed with the chassis still in the cabinet. Would you: A) Give it a shot to replace whil...

Re: 1994 Rev G....Keep or return? (possible PT issue)

I bought some JJ power tubes to my Mark V and it’s humming pretty loud in normal voltage setting. With variac setting there’s a lot less hum... it’s all about poorly matched tubes and incorrect bias  Can you borrow a set of known good tubes or drop the amp to tech (with good reputation and no...

Re: Wish/Fantasy

Yeah the combo is damn heavy. I bought a head also that easier to carry. If a reissue I’d also kwant a better reverb. That’s what i dont like at the dyne at all. I want a fender super reverb sounding like reverb. By the way is it possible to achieve a fender like reverb just swapping the tank out o...

Re: EM Custom MIDI switcher

Thanks!

So the device itself cannot save the own state per PC. So I would preferably use CC messages from midi controller to control the amp... :!:

Hum... have to investigate a bit more about this 8)

Re: EM Custom MIDI switcher

Hi.

This thing has got me interested again to convert the rig to midified.

How that thing is programmed for case:
preset #1 : Ch3 / geq off / reverb on/ solo off.
preset #2 : Ch2 / geq on / reverb off / solo on
Etc.

I found some manual but it was not so elaborate

Re: Depth/Resonance mod for Vintage Mode (2 Channel)?

Only necessary mod would be the serial loop mod.. after that one could use eq in loop to tame the depth charge effect :) Mesa GEQ would be somehow proper eq for the Mesa amp ;)

Re: Mark V footswitch connections

Hello! I believe that Mark V 90 W 8 pin din connector is just 7 on/off connectors and power for footswitch. So the pins should be: Channel 2, Channel 3, Reverb, Mute, FX loop, Solo and EQ. The ground is needed of course. So I have 8 pin din connector and I am planning to build a connector box to my...
