Is it safe to plug an eleven rack into the fx return of my

recto in order to use it just as a power amp and play the eleven rack through a cabinet?

I saw a video of someone doing this on yt with a bugera, but a recto is a different amp and blowing up a recto is a bigger deal than blowing up a bugera lol.

anyone have any thoughts on this?

Re: Replaced my ruby 6l6s with Mesa 6l6s....i am disappoint

I am going to order online next time. My local place only has mismatched tubes that will require a bias, unless it's just BS they fed me to sell me the 'mesa' brand tubes. I really wanted to try something different to experiment but the guy told me that I would need to bias my amp (despite it having...

Replaced my ruby 6l6s with Mesa 6l6s....i am disappoint

not that great. Not bad by any means but the tone is really different. I went from a thick and ultra compressed sound to a pretty thin sounding midrangy sound. pretty disappointed, I've had the tubes less than a month and I already want to replace them. Anyone else have similar experience with this?...

Re: Which Tubes Do You Use In Your Dual Rectifier?

is there somewhere I can order matched tubes?

I went to my local place and they're all unmatched and the guy said that I would need a tech to install them even though it's fixed bias boogie, so I had to buy the mesa tubes. I really wanted to try something new :(

Re: Footswitch for a rectoverb

Series 1 has Vintage and modern on channel 2, 6 pairs of knobs, and 1/4 footswitch jack. Series 2 has 7 pairs of knobs, raw, vintage, and modern on channel 2 and a 5 pin footswitch jack. I found out that the switch I was inquiring about was for a series 2. Thanks. I have a series II as well then. T...

Re: How much did you pay for your rig?

As it stands now it's pretty reasonable

Mesa rectoverb - $500
Marshall 2x12 - $160
Gibson LP standard - $1100

I also use a boss flanger but I didn't pay for it
1760 total.

Re: Cheapest price you paid 4 gear

I got my rectoberb with a flight case for $500. My 1st tube amp was a 5150 that I bought in town for 400, cheaper than my recto but the recto is a much better amp. my other boogies i paid market value for and they were worth it, but this rectoverb is my favorite of the bunch and I spent the least on...

the mark is a totally different sound. You can however get int he same ballpark as train of thought and budokan where he was playing road kings
