Re: Sweetwater Used Gear Marketplace

My bad, I was looking for a speaker cab.
Missed the fact you said it was a 4x10 combo.

Re: Love my red stripe Mesa Mark III...GAS'n for a Mark IIc+. Am I really missing a lot?

Search the board, there is lots of info to be found as this subject has been discussed many times. The short answer: Opinions vary but for those of us who have owned multiple Mesa Mark series amps and done live, in person comparisons to them with a IIC+ there is "a world of difference between the 2 ...

FS EV-12L's and MS-12's

I've got a few EV-12L's and a few MS-12's to sell. If you need multiples of either I'm happy to sell more than one to the same person. The EV's are OEM meaning there's no Mesa "Black Shadow" label on them. Pretty much what we've all seen for the majority of the EV's in Mesa's amp and cabs over the y...

Re: How to slave IIc+?

Alex, From the Mk-IIC Operating Manual: "The Slave Level control and Slave Output jack located on the rear panel of the amplifier give you a direct output feed which faithfully captures the entire sound of the amp and preamp and can be regulated to properly match anything from a mixing board to a po...

Re: Converted IIC+ with Export Transformer

This is a pop Song with a 1955 Les Paul Standard converted to 58's PAFs over his favourit MKIIC+ I did not knew, that the MK IIc+ can sound that way. Most players play that amp to get Metallica sound. There is something special about lower output humbucker pick-ups when playing through a C+. I was ...

Re: watzit? 2c+? mark3 prorotype?

That preamp board is the Mark III preamp board. That's an early Mark III where the silkscreening for rhythm 2 hasn't been added yet. That's all. It's a Mark III. Just a very early one. We've already been over this. Here in this topic. I stand corrected your Lordship. Please accept this humble apolo...

Re: watzit? 2c+? mark3 prorotype?

There is most definitely a "+" over the power cord.
It has a C+ face plate as well.
Looks like an SRG IIC+ (60w, Reverb, Graphic EQ) but I can't make out what model pre-amp board is in it.

Re: Can I use EL34s with my Blue Stripe?

I recently acquired a spotless wide-body Blue stripe Mark III. It does not have a simul-class switch or reverb and is currently loaded with a quad of 6L6's. My belief was that EL34s on the outer sockets was reserved for the simul-class versions but someone has a similar blue stripe for sale in the ...

Re: Does a mk2 head exist with reverb?

I agree. Looking at my schematics, there's not much to it. I m gonna check voltages and solder connections when I install pot. Thanks for the reply. Jim Did you ever get this fixed? If not it may be something as simple as a grounding issue. A very common problem with a simple easy fix. Search the b...
