Re: New Mesa Amp: Fillmore 50!!!

As a lower gain player now, this could well be the Mesa to suit my needs. I've had Mesa's in my stable for the last 25 years, and need to fill a hole ...

Look forward to seeing more about these in the UK soon

The best would be in blue bronco tolex but any other color option it's ok.
Seller must be willing to ship to Greece.

Thanks!

Re: Mesa 5 band graphic eq pedal and the lonestar

Certainly a cheap upgrade, and a very good idea LoLands .. Btw: where are you based? Not the cheapest EQ pedal but its a good one! Before the Mesa i had the Boss and MXR EQ pedal but the Mesa doesn't add any hiss or other noise. I'm from the Netherlands btw. Thanks for the advice LoLands. I bought ...

Re: Mesa 5 band graphic eq pedal and the lonestar

Has anybody used this combination? I experienced the builtin eq with the JP2C and it is dramatic. How would that pedal work on the Lonestar? I've wrote something about this combination in a topic (link below) about some people finding the Lone Star Drive channel to bassy. I use the 5-band EQ pedal ...

Re: TC-100.......I knew I should have waited!!

I'm almost certainly in for a TC100 when they hit the UK. Been sitting on the TC 50 fence for a few months now, but the spec on this one has done it for me As others have said elsewhere, a TC and Dyne are probably an ideal Mesa duo for what I need. I may well sell the Lonestar, which is a bit of a w...

Re: LoneStar Classic Settings

Actually there is quite a bit of gain or saturation on Mayers' amp in that clip. You're gonna need to use ch 2 with the drive engaged. But...ch 2 is notoriously muddy. I have done the Reeder mod that clones the channels. It will help the strat tone to shine through with drive. Either way, bass and ...

Re: Radio noise in my new/used Lonestar Special

Speaker cable? I used to have this issue, mainly with my MKV head through a 4x12, but sometimes my other amps also. Got the highest grade, shortest Monster cable I could find and haven't had an issue since May be worth connecting the Supro speaker with a good speaker cable and see if that isolates t...
