Speaker Cab

Pulled the trigger on a TC-100 today. I want to use a 2 x 12 cab. Does the horizontal or vertical Recto cab work better with this amp?

I got rid of it because I went all acoustic. If I had to do it over again I wouldn't have sold it. I am missing the noise!!

TC50 or Mark V

I'm trying to decide between these two amps. I owned a Mark V previously and really liked it. I basically just used channels 1 and 3. I'm after a great clean and heavy distortion. The TC50 looks simpler to use and from the clips I've heard, sounds great. I can pick up a used Mark V for about the sam...

Re: JP2C

As a hobbyist/ basement player, I wonder if this amp would be overkill for me. I had a Mark V and loved that it sounded good at low volumes. I'm curious if this one will too.

Re: Mark V Problem

Tried my cab with a different head. It checked out fine. I noticed a flash today when I turned the amp on. It looked like it came from the rectifier tube. If this tube was bad, would it show it self in the 90 watt mode? I'm waiting for some new power tubes to arrive. Hopefully they will fix it.

I can live with that. The main thing I'm trying to get rid of in ch. 1 is the slight static/distortion that wasn't there before.

Re: Mark V Problem

Well I went through all the pre-amp tubes with one that I know is good. Replacing V1 is a b!tch!. My problem didn't change. Now I'm guessing it's a power tube. Can these be replaced in pairs or do I need to replace all four?
