Re: Loss of gain

I called every tech within a reasonable distance and they all said it would take about 2 weeks or that they are backed up for 2 weeks. Bunch of bull if you ask me. So, I took it upon myself, and my mom, to open it up. When all else fails I'll take it to a tech. But, for now I'll replace the switch ...

One way the triaxis could have been an even bigger hit....

http://i99.photobucket.com/albums/l311/harem_theater/20130813_182359.jpg Ok, I know that it's marketed to go along with the 2:90, but I find matching this pre with the Simul satellite is above being a great tonal palette. It's versatile, warm, fat, spanky, clean, crushing, intense and fluid. I kind...

http://i99.photobucket.com/albums/l311/harem_theater/20130813_182359.jpg Haven't tried it in a band setting yet, but the simul satellite combo and EVM Thiele cab partnered with the TriAxis is BY FAR the best amp setup i've owned....including; Mesa Roadster, various Rocktron/ Egnater amps, another T...

FT: AUS Mesa Roadster head(+ mini amp gizmo) for Triaxis/290

Hey folks. Looking to trade my 2010 Roadster in perfect condition for a triaxis rig (preferably accompanied by 2:90) My footswitch was stolen not long after i bought it but didn't bother replacing it as it's MIDI controlled by an RJM Mini Amp Gizmo (included) Located in Melb, Australia. thanks Matt

Re: AM I NUTS??!!!

Thanks heaps for the input folks. Definately given me a lot to think about. Daisy, that was my first thought. "If I get rid of the roadster, can I still capture that rectifier backend which truly makes these amps so great?!" So I plugged into the back of my Egnater TOL100, dimed the presence and den...

FT: My Roadster for your Mark V (Melbourne, Australia)

As per the title. Looking to offload my 2009 roadster in near immaculate condition for a mark V or maybe a Triaxis/2:90.

Let me know if there's anything out there

AM I NUTS??!!!

I have a Mesa Roadster head which i run in 4CM with a Line 6 PodHD500 as i love Line6's effects and i use it to control my amp via MIDI. After updating to the latest software, L6 included a new set of SLO models. Here's the kicker.....Until now, i've been pretty happy with headphone tones from the P...

Re: Post your rig part 2

http://i99.photobucket.com/albums/l311/harem_theater/8a608b3c.jpg The smoothest, smokiest tones from the egnater mixed with the brash balls from the roadster are just a dream come true. I run ibanez axes into a ts808 then into a crybaby from hell. From there I use the two crybaby outputs to split t...

Re: Trying the stereo route

I've rewired my orange cab to be mono/stereo switchable. And I'm splitting the signal with the two outputs on my crybaby from hell. Phasing seems to be ok on all channels except the egnater channel 3. So I'll have to take it to a tech to get that flipped if possible. I do have a bit of loop hum so I...

Trying the stereo route

http://i99.photobucket.com/albums/l311/harem_theater/8a608b3c.jpg So the roadster has all this intense, dynamic tone while the egnater has this wicked Vai-ish lead tone full of mids and compression. Wanting to run both amps through my stereo cab, left and right. Any thoughts or suggestions regardin...

Re: roadster channel 4 mode fault?

It's unfortunate that this mode stands out so much because it doesn't sound consistent with the rest of the amp. The other channels are great otherwise.

Re: roadster channel 4 mode fault?

This is a common problem among roadsters. We call the fault "design". Unfortunately Mesa thought it would be awesome to have an unusually dark tone in vintage red and therefore made that mode accordingly. Some people like it. I, for one, find it irritating and definately would've preferred a ...

Re: Stereo issue

So i Rewired my cab using a DPDT switch on the back. This is how i wired it. http://i99.photobucket.com/albums/l311/harem_theater/4sp_stereo_mono.gif It's great because if i'm ever in a rush to set up like at a gig or anything, i'm only going to have one amp with me. So. if the switch is accidentall...
