Re: Looking for input - LS over an Electra Dyne?

I have yet to play an ED but I wanted to put in my 2c on the learning curve with the LSC. I have owned mine for about 2 years now and have struggled with the tone up until recently. For me what did "it" was changing to Mesa Boogie EL34 tubes. I play through a Reader#1 mod, version 1 head, and matchi...

Re: LSC with TC Electronic G-system

Just my 2p, but..... I had a G-System Limited for 10 days before I sent it back, because despite the reworked analog section to my ears it did still change thin the tone. I have an LSC 212 10/50/100. I had no noise problems but for me it changed the tone too much. Others will disagree but that was ...

LSC with TC Electronic G-system

Anyone use one with the LSC? Through the Loop?

I currently use a Line 6 M13 through the loop for delays/mods. I'm not too crazy about that combo.... takes too much of the amps sound away in my opinion.

Re: Andy Timmons clinic

Saw Andy last week in Pa. My first time seeing him and it wont be my last I can tell you that! I started listening to him since I got my LSC (any youtube search with Lonestar in it will yield something from Andy) and I cant believe I didn't before that, he is a brilliant guitar player. Even got my p...

Re: Weber Cali Channel 2 (Drive)...LSC

I too would be interested in this before I purchase new speakers. Found great youtube videos of Weber Blue Dogs but nothing of the California or Chicago and the clips on the Weber sight are very hard to compare what they use vrs a LSC.

Re: The search for tone may be over.

BobL,

Any chance you have some sound clips of your setup? I would love to hear that Weber California in it... Very curious.

Also, thanks for posting this, tons of great info!

Re: LSC is LOUD.... anyway to tame it?

I turned the loop in level all the way down and was able to get more out of the master volume that way.... Seems to help.

LSC is LOUD.... anyway to tame it?

I have a series 1 100 watt LSC head and 2x12 cab (the blue one with silver cloth). I love this amp to death however, I am afraid that if I continue using it for practicing I may seriously lose my hearing (big amp, small room....). As I said, I love this amp, other than it being extremely loud. Is th...
