Re: EZDrummer vs Superior Drummer

I also have EZDrummer (never tried SD). I'm not sure if it's been pointed out, but you can separate each piece into separate tracks (up to eight) in your DAW. But like what's been said before it already has some eq'ing applied to it. I like separating the kit so I can somewhat treat each differently...

Re: Post your rig part 2

^I'm pretty much the same. I have a boatload of crap then there's a 2x12 plus preamp processor/power amp that i use for gigs. there's just something about having options beside modelling during home recordings that I like...

Re: Quad pre, TC Electronics G-Force and Rocktron All Access ?'s

what you did is perfectly fine. just dont turn it up too high that you'll 'clip' the input of any effects connected to it. you can also use the second volume as a 'master volume boost' by connecting both outs to an a/b pedal or a midi looper. i do this with my quad because i'm so used to my recto ha...

Re: 08 Dual Recto with line 6 vetta II

I also have both but I don't remember if I actually did this before: Try hooking up the send of your Recto to the effects return of the Vetta. Then hook up the line out of the Vetta to the Recto's return. The disadvantage to this is you will not be able to use the Vetta's amp blocks and pedal effect...

Re: Best graphic EQ pedal for a non Graphic EQ IIC+

I recently discovered and bought a Source Audio EQ and I find it to be more smooth and musical than my Boss GE7. It is true bypass and is also MIDI capable with 4 preset, but it isn't analog if that matters.

Re: Post your pedalboard

This is the first time I have ever put a pedalboard together. I have not heard or played an SLO before but the S2 sounds killer on its own right (and very versatile)... it's a mixture of cheap to high end pedals; I just go with what I like pretty much. any suggestion on ONE power supply that can pow...

Re: Mesa Mini Rec VIDEO.

Woohoo for Matt! He's a very helpful guy. I was bugging him a week ago about sending stuff to APO and I was really pushing to get a 212 cab sent out. I made a suggestion about removing the speakers to make it lighter and sending them separately. He didn't make any promises but he said we'll work som...

Re: American Music and Guitar - Beware

Someone asked why I purchased a mesa from "Amazon of all places"... In answer to that... Mesa distributors generally do not ship to military addresses overseas. I cannot believe that Mesa would have such an unfair policy. But, most of the dealers do refuse to ship to military addresses. Most cite t...

Re: Morpheus DropTune Pedal Demo (Mastodon Cover!)

Initially it was glitchy and had alot of latency, but after the latest firmware update, all of that is gone. this was the reason why i returned mine the same day i got it, but i bought it when it was still new and no firmware updates were available. i really wanted to like it but i couldn't. about ...
