Re: Factory Spec 2ch Preamp Tubes
The stock preamp tubes in my 95 Dual Recto were Mesa-branded GE Long plates across the board.

Re: FS: ReBorn Dual Rectifier
A couple of reasons. Got a Kemper Profiler (so I have the Mark IV now) but more importantly DV Mark sent me their Triple 6 amp and it's my dream tone. Sounds like a cross between a 2 channel Recto, an SLO and an Uberschall.
So no need for the Recto.

Check These Out - Verellen Preamp Pedals!
Ben Verellen asked me to make some demo videos of the new Verellen preamp pedals. They are the preamp sections of their respective amps. Tubes, trannys, everything. They sound great. Verellen currently has a Kickstarter campaign going for these pedals here ($200 off if you order one now): http://www...

Re: Multi-Watt Dual Rectifier - Metal Again (Video)
Well I was never a fan of the SM57. Too much treble and the lies are almost non-existent. The e906 is like a 3D version of an SM57, and much warmer. Love the Sennheiser!

Multi-Watt Dual Rectifier - Metal Again (Video)
Re-did a video for the Multi-Watt. Last time the speakers in my Mesa 2x12 were brand new and fizzy as Hell. This sounds much better.

Re: pre 500: substance or hype?
I have owned a Rev E, Rev. G, FJA-modded 3 Channel and currently a Multi-Watt Recto. Its all mostly hype. The early Rectos with the Mark III trannys DO feel really good and of course they sound amazing. But my favorite Recto I have ever owned is my Multi-Watt Dual Recto. Second favorite is my old re...

Re: Mesa Presence Pot
Yes it should, but the chrome knob might stick out farther due to the longer shaft. And there won't be a 'flat' to index the knob as well.
