Re: Rectifier Lineage...
Very interesting indeed. Let us know what you find in the guts. Everything look original I presume?

Re: Mesa Rectifier Badlander
This thing looks to be a monster. I'd love to hear the Badlander mixed with a MWDR, I think that would crush! I also love the reduction in the size of the amp. Now it looks like it will fit on top of the Vertical 2x12 cab.

Re: Which Mesa for me?
I'll be honest with ya, I'd consider the TC100. I can not express enough how awesome the multi watt feature is. That instantly solves your volume issue while still retaining the feel and tone of the amp. The amp is one of the best to come out of Petaluma in quite a while. I play in an 80's tribute b...

They're the same amp, just different grilles.

New Head Shell?
Any one have a smallbox head shell for the Electradyne available? I know this is a long shot, but I figured I asked the Mesa community first. I know Mesa will build you head shells, but will they do it for out of production models? I got the long box version now and it's just too much.

WOW! I would have bought it for that too danyeo! At first reading your post I thought tubes as well, but I agree, something sounds off to me. I'd have someone check the pot number and see if it matches one from the manual. Or from Boogie.

FS/FT - Mesa Fillmore 50 Head***SOLD***
Ok, I have come to the conclusion that while this amp is a great piece of gear, it's just not my sound. So, I'm looking to sell/trade my practically mint Mesa Fillmore 50 head. It comes with all the "case candy" along with the original Mesa shipping box/materials. This amp as I said, is in fantastic...

Re: Single Recto V2 question
I know the differences quite well actually. It's a version 2. I've had one before which is why I'm confused about the delay between switching channels, and it's a very noticeable lag. Everything else works fine though, so I don't know where to go from here. I guess maybe a phone call to the Mesa hom...

Single Recto V2 question
Please forgive me if this has been covered and I'm sure it has. I haven't been able to find info on it though. I recently picked up a Single Rec V2 head and completely forgot about the massive lag when you switch between the channels via the footswitch. Is there a fix for this or am I missing someth...

Re: Solo 50 blew
Nothing special at all. Just ease the old ones out and ease the new ones in. They can only go in one way due to the notch on the base of the tube. Pretty straight forward. Good luck and let us know how you make out. Oh, and make sure you have the same fuse that the amp requires.

Re: Solo 50 blew
To my ears, the Recto's sound better with 6L6's, but to each their own as tone is VERY subjective. So, it's a matter of preference for you. Those smaller tubes are preamp tubes. I'd replace the power tubes first then go from there.
