It's great when you find a new (old) amp that really rattles your cage isn't it lol. Great to hear you've found this gem of an amp. And it's WAY more versatile than some people realize too. You can do SO much with this amp. It appears that you're an EL34 guy, but give 6L6's a try. Oh and crank it an...
You bring up some good points and I've actually been working on this very subject for the past several weeks with my three main amps. I'm experimenting with OD pedals to pair them with each amp. And you are very correct, different pedals react differently to different amps. Some of this is pretty st...

That's a bit strange to me. My TC50 master volumes are all pretty close to each other, roughly in the 12 o'clock range. Even when the "pushed" toggle is engaged, there isn't that much difference in volume. Not really sure what could be going on there.
CHANNEL 3 Channel Vol: noon Presence: 1 o'clock Gain: 1:30 o'clock Bass: 3 o'clock Mid: 2 o'clock Treble: 12:30 Output: set to right under the "U" in Output ...A couple of things here. First, I know, it's LOUD, but man does it sound good (this is my live rig). I use a Charvel San Dimas Pro Mod with...

That's very disappointing to hear about your experience with the Mesa Hollywood store. I thought/expected that place to be of a higher caliber store. I've owned both the Mark V and the Dual Rec. The Dual is the only amp I regret selling. I played the Mark V for over two years and thereby giving it a...

There has been extensive research and information posted on here that can answer your questions. Sometimes this forum can be a bit slow and sometimes people can get tired of reposting the same information, not that it hurts to ask, just one of those mundane things. The "Reborn" Rectos were released ...

I have a brand new/NOS Mesa Lonestar 1x12 combo in factory custom cream tolex with all the candy and still unused warranty up for trade. It's dead mint, unused and un-played other than to test/try out the amp. Here's the thing, I want a Gibson Les Paul bad. I'd prefer a Traditional, Standard or poss...

To be honest, I think your channel master is too high. My basic settings are: EL34 tubes (stock), Tight, Presence 10:00, Ch. master 11:00, Gain 1:30-2:00, Bass 2:00, Treble 11:30, Mid 1:00 and my Global master is set around 10:30-11 depending on venue/home use. Mine is dead silent with no feedback a...

Cool that you're really digging the Stiletto. It's a fantastic amp. I also run my treble and presence low, but running the volume up does fatten up and round out the sound a bit also. It is brutally raw and keeps your playing honest, but I like the challenge I guess lol. Slap a tube screamer or a EH...
