JJ Tube set for Simul-Class (6L6 & EL34's) from Apexmatching.com

I have a barely used JJ power tube set for a simul-class amp that came from Apexmatching.com. They came out of my Mark IIC+ head. I really prefer all 6L6. I have pictures if you want them, but they are just tubes Lol. Asking $50 shipped.

Price check IIC converted to C+

What would be a typical price for a IIC short head with EQ and Simul-Class (but original reverb tank is missing) that was converted at the factory to C+ back in the eighties?

Thanks!

$315 (not including return shipping) was the total. Mike also cleaned all of the pots and EQ sliders and repaired a damaged wire associated with the reverb.

Re: Mark IIC++ long chassis

If you don't mind me asking, how much was the service? I'm going to drop my amps off at the factory in a few weeks. I am still waiting for their service manager to call me with the total, but to put the amp back to IIC++ specs, replace the filter caps, replace the noisy fan, and general maintenance...

Mark IIC++ long chassis

It's been a long time since I posted, but I just got some interesting news I thought I would share. I sent my IIC+ long head out to Petaluma to have them give it a check-up, and take a look at filter caps, noisy fan, etc. I get a call from Mike B. who tells me my amp is one of just a handful that le...

That's my old amp as well. Sold it to Kung Fool about 5-6 years ago. I had it along with R0188.

I am not the OP, but I did see it on Ebay listed twice on the same day in 2 different auctions that ended with 2 different (and expensive) BIN's. Re: Original IIC+??

That serial number is most certainly a IIC, not a factory C+. Read this: http://forum.grailtone.com/viewtopic.php?t=18184&highlight=mark+iic If I'm reading your message correctly, it is NOW only possible to upgrade a IIC to a C+ because the circuit board needed to upgrade a IIA or IIB to a C+ has n...

Re: IIB converted to IIC+ price check.

Since it is not simul-class, it seems to me that it is worth no more than $1500. What do you guys think?

Original IIC+??

Someone has a IIC+ for sale that has a "Gain Boost" face plate and a serial number of 114XX. He says that it is only possibly a IIC to IIC+ upgrade. Seems to me that it must have been a IIC originally but then modded to IIC+. What say you? He wants 3K for it :shock:
