    Can someone help me with my nomad 45

    I don't believe it is tube driven so I would try with and without foot switch plugged up. Then I would check all wires connecting reverb then would pull pan out and check the springs and connections. Then I don't know.

    Yeah it is how I usually have it but I was happier with the clean before getting a silverface twin reverb. I might just be expecting too much and should just enjoy what it does. I used to have a nomad 45 2x12 and just remember the clean being cleaner.

    I Like the way the clean channel is sometimes but other times I just can't seem to dial in a proper clean. Anyone else have this problem or is it just mine/me?

    I really like my nomad 55 in a 4x10 combo. Been wanting a second amp 1x12 maybe that's easier to grab and go. Thinking nomad 45 for a different flavor with the el84s. Of course I am open to ideas and opinions.

    Well ended up putting the amp in a peavey classic vt 4x10 combo. It really sounds good through those old square magnet eminence speakers.

    New Nomad owner with questions

    My Nomad 45 came with VIN. 30's but I replaced them with Jensen Neos. Vin. 30 are just too harsh for my ears. The jensens are similar in voice but smoother making them a little more vintagy sounding.

    Is it safe to pull two power tubes from Nomad 45?

    Well I was hopeing that by removeing two tubes I could turn it up just a bit more at home. This thing is super loud and if you turn it down to 1 or below you lose the EQ or something. If it could be bumped up to 1 or above sounds like it should. Would an attenuator do this for me or do I just...

    Is it safe to pull two power tubes from Nomad 45? Should I plug my 8ohm speakers into the 4ohm spot? Is it safe even with amp on extreme setting?
