I just had the same thing happen to my .50 cal, the filter caps in the power supply went, they only really have a suggested lifespan of about 10 years then they should be replaced so it could be that, does it pop fuses?

I did this mod for a customer, it adds quite a bit of brightness to the guitar but that can work really well for cutting through in a Rock/Metal scenario

Don't care about the condition as long as it works right and is a reasonable price. Cheers!
