I just remembered I had a strat with a pot like that you could roll the neck pick up in with any pick up combination. so with the pot at 10 you just got what every you have selected the pick up selector to ie the bridge the as you rolled the pot back to 1 it mixed the neck in 1 being like the...
I have kinman woodstocks with the Clapton Pre amp swapped out the pot in the middle tbx for the standard tone pot and the 25dB mid boost is in the bottem tone control. Totally hum free and can go from a vintage strat to a almost les Paul tone :) The Preamp would sound nice with your pickups...
If it's the Clapton strat the blending pot is just a modified tbx tone pot. I took tbx out and installed a standard tone pot. Any way it's stacked pot and you need to rewire the pot. the pot will have 3 lugs (or 6 if it's a stacked pot ) if you use the middle lug and the left lug it will go one...

hi boogie owners i have an f50 and was looking at swapping out the 12ax7 in p1 for a 12at7 what are the pros and cons?
i have heard it macks the amps sound more open but i have also heard it is less dynamic?

My 2003 f50 non badge and no grill has Mesa str 430 6l6's (Russian) and a celestion international mc90.
My friends newer f50 has the badge the grill Mesa str 440 6l6's (chiniese) and a celestion uk mc90.
So IMO mine has beter output tubes and my friends has a better speaker...
