    Truss rod adjustment.

I have a question. When making minor adjustments to a truss rod, is it necessary to put some pressure on the neck manually to help the truss rod do it's job easier? For instance, if I want to have a little more relief, is it absolutely necessary to put mild pressure by hand to facilitate a...

    Dual Recto Blackface...

...not sure if I'm willing to sell yet, but would anyone be interested? It's a 2000 model, 2 channel, with the slip cover, footswitch, papers etc. Any offers?

    Dual rec vs. Warhead

I've found this to be completely true as well. I was recording a guy last week who was using a SS Fender Roc Pro. Honestly, when he was playing through it, I was impressed that it didn't sound bad. It wasn't great, but it was 'decent'. He then plugged into my MKIV and the slop in his...

Mark IV head conversion, courtesy of gts...

When I actually received the shell, I could tell that the photos gts sent didn't quite do it justice. The whole thing looks and feels 'rich'. The detail work (on the bottom and rear of the shell) is very clean.

    c90 and v30 in a 4x12 recto cab

I did this in my 2x12 and I really like the mix of the two. The V30's crunch with the C90's really balanced out my sound.

Here's my MKIV in it's new home. George (gts) did amazing work. It was much better than I expected and was very high quality. It is built just as good, if not better than Mesa's own. I love it. The pictures...

It's getting amusing already!! Mark IV for $3500

So, the guy on eBay dropped his price: http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=250257561820&_trksid=p3907.m32&_trkparms=tab%3DWatching Yet, someone has bid on this at $1700?! Last week, they weren't selling for that much! I'm going to watch this one...

Ha! That will never sell for that price. Ridiculous.

Rectifier Recording PreAmp . . . good for DIRECT recording??

^That made my day. Anyway, first you'd take a direct signal from your guitar into Protools via a direct box (if you find one that has multiple outs, that's even better because you could run the signal to an amp as well), then from Protools push that signal out and into the Reamp. The signal...

Rectifier Recording PreAmp . . . good for DIRECT recording??

The Rec Pre has a speaker simulator built in, which sounds head and shoulders above the Line 6 emulations that I've used, BUT it does not capture what the GT SEII does. I'm pretty sure the Rec Pre could be used in conjunction with the Line 6 as a speaker emulator. It does not have a power...
