3 EQs does not work like a 22 band at ALL. Each band's "Q" is far too wide for that. They just have an additive effect, so you are cutting something like 30+db of mids and adding like 15+db of highs and bass. I cannot even imagine how bad that must sound. Clip, please!

Actually, that picture resides in a music shop in NYC hanging on the wall. Many people I personally know have been there and confirm that it's real. The owner of the shop (who I've spoken to) also can confirm it's real. If you're thinking it's a photoshop, sorry to tell you you're completely wrong.

Good luck. I would personally never send my Mark IV to anyone except Mesa, where it came from. The amp is too complex and there are too many stupid techs out there. I've heard way too many stories of people sending their Marks to techs and the amp being completely devoid of it's original "magic"...

I'm sorry to sound rude, but is this even a serious question? A MKIv vs. El Diablo? That's like asking about a Ferrari vs. Honda Civic. No...nevermind...it's worse than that.

I like the tone. Only criticism of the clip is after you do the first dive bomb, you are hitting wrong notes left and right. Work on that a little and you'll be right on.

My honest opinion is that the Recto sounds good and the Mark was set VERY badly. Way too scooped with way too much buzzy high end.

Yes mine does the same thing. It's completely normal and seems to pick a channel at random.
