I am going to have to downsize to a condo in the near future. I have a virtually new condition Mark IV B that I bought in August of 2007. It has not one mark of any type on it and everything is included including the suggested settings sheet that tucks under the handle.
It was actually too much...
I have a Mark IV that I bought brand new in August of 2007. When I say it is in virtually new condition I am not exagerating. It has never left my house.
I would say that I have maybe 100 hours on it at the most. For some reason, I just never fell in love with the amp as much as I did the...
I have been wanting to get the sound of the PRRI....hopefully without having to buy one.
I know that the Fender is running 6V6's, and I guess from what I have read you can even use 6V6's in the Mark if you are on the tweed setting.
Anyone had any luck just getting it close using all of the...
I have a 2x12 Roadster Cab I use with my Ace combo.
I was thinking about getting the Rectoverb II and wondered how it would do with the cab as I wanted to go lighter. Since the combo comes with a 3/4 back, what do people use in the head/cab set-up use?
I am looking to get a little more bottom end on my Mark IVb Combo and my LoneStar Special Combo.
Has anyone A-B-'d these cabinets???
I know it is not technically a Theile, but given the accolades of the compact Theile I am curious about the widebody which would set right under my Mark.
I really appreciate the input.
I think I am going to give it a shot at least in the classifieds here. I hate selling stuff and usually give my older things to friends, but this is too new and too valuable to do that.
I'm going to get some pictures together and figure out what I need to know to...
I just bought a Stiletto Ace and now am thinking I want to see my 2007 Mark IV Widebody Combo.
I do not see many on ebay or the classifieds here. Is that because there is little interest, or everyone who has one is happy with it and holding on to it?
Thoughts?
I have a Widebody Combo Mark IVb that I bought new from an uthorized dealer in 2007.
I would say that it has somewhere around 40-50 hours on it. Not a mark or a scratch of any type.
What are you looking to pay for a clean unit?
Update of Sorts
I could not get anyone who had any real experience with the new new widebody ported cabinet.
I was at a Mesa dealer and they had the new Mark V head on a Rectifier cabinet and I thought it sounded pretty darn good.
In the end, I made the decision to get the 2x12 Roadster...
I have a Widebody Mark VI combo and want to add some options to the sound.
I was wondering what the differences would be between the 2x12 Recto...the 2x12 Stiletto and the 2x12 Roadster.
I mostly play classic rock with some modern rock thrown in, but nothing on the metal side.
I was wondering if anyone has tried the new cab with a Mark IV (b) combo. I have the widebody and had been waiting for the Thiele to come out that way so it could sit under the combo.
The price list describes the 'original' as a Thiele compact 1X12 closed back, front ported cabinet. The...
One of my biggest issues is trying to understand which model of Mesa overlaps into another model's sound pallette.
I recently demo'd the Ace 2x12 and the Rectoverb combo. I thought both amps had some really sweet sound on channel one and for my tastes less so on channel two. Many have touted...
I was wondering how the Mark IV does when you use either a Stiletto or Rectifier cabinet.
If you are using a Mark IV with one of these cabs, please let me know what you think about sound. I have a combo so I was wondering if you go straight in to the cab and disable the internal speaker or use...
