The curled maple and the badge seem to be the only specials. All maple wood amps looked pretty boaring back in the days then........ Would like to see the back side for more knobs and functions.......???????

After experiences for more than 40 years I can tell you not to expect too much while searching for the "right cab" with "right speaker" with the intention playing at low volumes with your setup. Marks are NOT concepted for playing at low volumes, so looking for a "better" cab/speaker will let...

Well, I can`t tell for the C+ if needed or not, but for my REDs I almost never use my EQs, only for very special sounds, like "Owner of a Lonely Heart" i.ex., or switching between "solo playing" and "rythm playing", the EQ is set all sliders a bit upwards. (Both amps are simul class) In general...

Well, thank for your engaged description. Interesting to see other people`s views. Although Metal sounds are not my fit I`m always astonished about the treble forced settings the III is capable of...... I absolutely go for conservative typical calssic singing Les Paul sounds, more mids and less...

I'm SO CURIOUS about the myth how close comes a Red or a III+ to the upper famous and to check out personally (A/B)....... But I think I`d never have the chance to do.........

I don`t play Metal, but I can tell you that for many years the Master/Pull was most strange to me compared to the others. Pulled, was first too bold for me, and pushed in, too thin. Nevertheless I`ve got used to the pulled function and never push in, as this state is unusable for me...
