Why is the F series not more popular?

Mesa F-50 for Jazz???
When I got my F-50 I was absolutely pleased that the clean tones, though not talked about much, are really it's forte. It kicks absolute *** on clean. There is so much bottom on clean you have to dial back the bass and use the knob as a cut, and that's on a guitar with only .042's... -

Why is the F series not more popular?
I just bought an F-50 for $400. Needs a bit of work though. I like it. I would say these amps are not popular because they have full controls for the lead channel on the amp, yet none for the countour boost. The problem is, the lead channel is a bit flat on the EQ. It's nice for blues with a...
