I have a early Mark V 90 watts, and since Apeman deleted his posts I am not sure where to put my Jan 12AT7WCs. Is it V4 and V6 for the 90W or V4 and V7 ? Thanks Dom

I did some tube rolling today and noticed that there is a golden screw hanging from the chassis just behind the second power tube (counting from right to left when looking at the amp from the back). The screw is hanging uncrewed from the chassis and is about to fall off. Sorry I cant post...

A quick update , the amp is up and running. Somehow my V1 install had the consequence of taking out the rectifier tube. I don't know how it can happen. I still don't if that SPAX7 is good or not. Waiting for a spare 5U4GB to test it. Thanks for reading. Dom

This morning I decided to try a SPAX7 tube in V1. As soon as I flipped the power switch, the fuse blowed. The tube was brand new. Is there a way to install those tube ? How did I have f..cked it up ? I don"t have another fuse handy. I tried a 2amps one from my F-50 and it burned too. The...
